The installation explores how the experience of migration impacts our body, perception and emotional world.

The installation “Things We Carry” is dedicated to the aspect of migration we all seem to oversee: migration comes at a tremendous cost as we change, often unwillingly, the environment we were rooted in. Drawing on artistic research, the group of artists, associated with CORE Kollektiv, invites the visitors to dive into the experience of being “uprooted” on multiple levels  - through smell, images, languages, memories in relation to the perception of place and time.
