CampusVital – Our Culture of Health on Campus Berlin-Buch
Campus Berlin-Buch is committed to improving health. In line with this mission, the development and operating company Campus Berlin-Buch GmbH is implementing a model project that sustainably promotes health in the work environment through campus-wide occupational health management. BBB is cooperating with the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in the Helmholtz Association (MDC), the Leibniz-Forschungsinstitut für Molekulare Pharmakologie (FMP), Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and six companies located on campus in the model project, which receives substantial support from the Techniker Krankenkasse (TK).
Model Project Occupational Health Management
The research institutions and companies of Campus Berlin-Buch have set up a joint occupational health management (OHM) system with the support of the health insurance company Techniker Krankenkasse. CampusVital contributes to the development of a sustainable health culture by strengthening social cohesion among all employees on campus through sports and exercise, health days, courses on “Healthy Leadership”, ergonomic consulting as well as promoting exercise at the workplace such as “exercise breaks”.

The company health ticket is a special prepaid card, which is charged by the employer with a credit balance and is issued to the employees. The ticket holder can take advantage of offers throughout Germany of providers of the German network for occupational health care such as sports courses, massages, dietary consultation or stress management courses.

The CampusVital fitness studio offers you fitness training, endurance training, group and circle training as well as personal training.
