Treamid Therapeutics GmbH is a Berlin-based small pharma company that develops innovative treatments in areas of high unmet medical needs. Our lead compounds are developed for inflammatory, endocrinological, and respiratory diseases.

To develop and expand our portfolio, we are running an in vitro laboratory with a range of different techniques.

For our wet lab, we are looking for a full-time Laboratory Technician / Laboratory Research Assistant (m/f/d) in early drug development.

In this position, you will have the following set of responsibilities:

• Lab work:
- Routine lab work including maintenance of cell culture, stocking of materials, listing inventory, and waste disposal.
- Testing and establishing protocols of in vitro methods, focusing on RNA (qPCR) and protein methods (Western Blot, ELISA, FACS) as well as cell culture of cell lines and primary cells
- Writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Organization: Ensure laboratory organization, order laboratory supplies, and get in contact with vendors.

• Documentation: Professionally structure and thoroughly document maintenance activities and study data in our electronic laboratory book and inventory journal.

Your profile:
• Lab Assistant (BTA/CTA/MTA, or equivalent) or Life Science degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc. level)
• Experience in establishing and executing biochemical and cell-based in vitro assays
• Good understanding of and willingness to ensure laboratory organization (order laboratory supplies, get in contact with vendors, write and maintain laboratory inventory lists, etc.)
• Experience in reading, establishing, and writing (laboratory) protocols
• Very good written and spoken English and German
• Motivated to do the interesting, as well as the necessary tasks
